I'm fit (muscular swimmer's build), healthy in body, mind and spirit. Faith in and commitment to Jesus Christ shapes who I am and what I value. I'm looking to share the deeper, most intimate part of who I am with another man, which means finding a partner who has the same love for God and commitment to Christ. My temperament is easy-going which makes me a patient, relaxed guy with a good sense of humor. I'm a regular guy who enjoys simple, everyday things. I work out regularly (actually enjoy it!); play as well as watch sports; garden, read; enjoy the arts and other cultural venues; music (eclectic taste); travel-- even if that's a local trip along the coast; hanging out with family and friends. Especially enjoy good food, maintaining a healthy lifestyle by eating clean, whole foods. Have taken courses at the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York City to keep my cooking creative. I'm a self-starter and self-learner who enjoys opportunities for personal growth. I look for new things to experience and do. I can be highly playful and spontaneous, yet responsible. I'm very physical: a toucher and a "feeler," and more extroverted than introverted-- although my reflective, quiet side is developed as well. I am openly expressive with my feelings in honest, caring and constructive ways. I have been physically active throughout my life and appreciate that in others. Played water polo and basketball in high school and college. Many wonderful people and opportunities have come into my life so I realize that life is a gift to be lived with gratitude and humility. Having lived abroad in several different places in the world gives me a broader perspective on life and America's place in the world. This said, being well-off and comfortably middle class gives me the opportunity to give back to others. I will retire in June 2015, after spending my career serving middle school and high school students as an educator/counselor/pastor. Working with kids has been one of the greatest joys of my life and has kept me much younger in age and outlook. I'm a very happy guy and, while life is good, it would be wonderful to share it with a committed partner. I do believe that the best meal hasn't been eaten yet, and the best painting hasn't been painted-- but I'm looking to find it and share that with someone! As great as it is to be loved, it's even greater to love and share your life! I'm looking to meet other men of faith who are regular, decent, masculine men. Personal character, morals and integrity are important to me. Hopefully, my match would be open to experience the "more" of what life has to offer together.
